82 Years Ago ED’s Shipbuilder Insured With Us

40 years ago today the Edmund Fitzgerald sank.  But 82 years ago, M.W. Lacy, the boats creator had insurance with us.

Here are some fact about M. W. Lacy:

-His real name was Moses Widener Lacy.
-He died in 1959 shortly after the boats maiden voyage on September 24, 1958.
-He was the purchasing agent at Great Lakes Engineering Works.
-As you can see, he was a Wyandotte resident living at 326 Chestnut St.

Just like M. W. Lacy, make a smart decision and your home, auto, and boat with E.W. Smith.
